Sharon Matola Recognized by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine

Prestigious award cites wildlife rehabilitation, and Chalillo dam lawsuit

Sharon Matola, a leader in the efforts to save the Macal River Valley, was one of four extraordinary individuals recognized by Conde Nast Traveler for making a difference for the environment.  Patricia Skyer won the 2002 Environmental Award for her work on community conservation and Matola was one of three runners-up.
